Here at The Real Shed Company we offer free delivery to most UK postcodes, on all our garden buildings and garden products. Please see the delivery charges below which explain delivery areas and delivery times for each product.

Standard Sheds

Delivery/ Installation Information for All Garden Buildings

Order & Delivery Process

Once you have placed your order with Phoenix Garden Buildings, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your purchase along with a site risk assessment form. This form must be reviewed, signed, and returned before we can proceed.

Upon receipt of the completed documentation, a member of our team will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery and installation date. Please note that installations are typically scheduled approximately 2–3 weeks in advance.

Delivery & Installation Requirements

To ensure a smooth and efficient installation, please carefully review the following requirements:

Parking
Our delivery and installation team will require suitable parking as close as possible to the prepared foundation for the duration of the installation (up to 4 hours).
Suitable parking is defined as approximately 30ft (10m) of accessible space.

Foundation Preparation
A suitable base must be prepared prior to installation. The foundation must be:

  • Solid, flat, level, and even
  • Adequately sized for the building
  • Allow a minimum clearance of 12 inches (30cm) around all sides, free from obstructions such as walls, fences, or hedges

Access Requirements
There must be a clear and unobstructed route to the installation area. This includes:

  • No height or width restrictions
  • No tight corners that would prevent safe movement of materials

Site Preparation
Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • All access routes are adequately protected
  • Interior and exterior floor surfaces are covered where necessary
  • Any fragile or valuable items are removed from access areas

Please note that our delivery team is required to wear appropriate safety clothing at all times, including protective footwear, which cannot be removed.

Neighbour Access
If access to your property requires passing through a neighbouring property, it is your responsibility to obtain permission and ensure access is available on the day of installation.

Handling & Installation Limitations

  • Due to health and safety regulations, we are unable to lift components over buildings, walls, or fences exceeding 2ft in height
  • The maximum single section length is 10ft (3m)
  • Sections exceeding this size will be supplied in multiple parts
  • All split sections will be finished with a cover trim to ensure a neat appearance

 

Zest Products - Shipping & Delivery Terms

We deliver to all UK mainland postcode areas, with the Scottish Highlands subject to a delivery surcharge of £20.

The Majority of our products are delivered by DX.

These are packaged in heavy duty recyclable polythene or with heavy duty cardboard. The parcel is banded and the end strapped for extra protection in transit.

Items weighing less than 20kgs are despatched by TNT, and multiple/larger products are sent palletised via the Pallex network.

Orders are dispatched within 5-7 Working Days (this begins from the next working day after receipt of an order)

If you are unable to accept their delivery, the carrier will attempt to obtain a signature from a neighbour or will leave it in a secure area if this is indicated on the order. Please be aware that any delivery instruction must be indicated on the order, otherwise these cant be guaranteed.

Pallet Deliveries

• For palletised orders there is a lead-time of 7-10 working days.
•Please be advised that palletised goods cannot be shipped to Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland. Any other orders going to these regions may have longer delivery times and additional delivery charges .
•All deliveries are kerbside only and must be signed for

As standard we offer a 1-3 working day delivery service on all orders as below.

All prices include UK mainland delivery and VAT.

Thorndown Wood Paint - Shipping & Delivery Terms

Please note that deliveries are not made on Bank Holidays and weekends.

  1. Standard delivery terms are between 1 and 3 working days from date of order to UK mainland. Deliveries are not made on bank holidays and weekends. 
  2. You will receive an email notification informing you that your package is with the courier to be processed for delivery, along with a tracking number and details so that you can track your parcel.
  3. Smaller packages such as sample tins are sent via Royal Mail’s 48 hour tracked service. We selected the 48hr service as this is the most environmentally friendly option with the lowest carbon footprint. 
  4. We use reputable courier companies and Royal Mail to deliver our goods to try and ensure safe delivery. However, it must be remembered that damage and delays can be caused in transit and we do not take any responsibility for any additional costs incurred due to damages or delays.
