 Replicating Michelangelo's original Renaissance sculpture artistry, Borderstone created this imitation cast in stone. The initial marble figurine displays a heroic nude male—David—with the classical Greek concept. Commissioned for Florence Cathedral, David is depicted in a contemplative and anxious pose. Representing strength and youthful magnificence, many replicas of this statue have been produced. Within the Victoria and Albert Museum, a detachable fig leaf is included—allowing for strategic placement.
